Some ideas or beliefs or things seem completely, and obviously objective to me (math, religion, medicine, how many steps there are in a staircase). Other things seem completely subjective (what kind of hats to wear, whether to put Nutella or peanut butter on your pretzels, which combination of dipping sauces to get with your McNuggets). But how do you separate the two? What makes one topic objective, while others or subjective?
I wrote all this to think through that issue.
The images in the background are diagrams explaining concept from Quantum Mechanics (the Uncertainty Principle, if you were curious. Although it doesn’t matter for our purposes). Einstein believed that “God didn’t throw dice”. Things, while they may appear random, have some ultimate and underlying objective cause. I don’t have enough education to make a statement on Quantum Mechanics, but I thought it was fitting for this discussion.
