Just a small taste of my sticker collection. I mostly stick to ones of aliens, Hello Kitty, teddy bears, cute animals, or Catholic imagery. (Taken with instagram)

We put on our imagination caps in art class and went on a expedition to my backyard to gather drawings of the remains of the exotic wildlife for a scientific journal.
Some ideas or beliefs or things seem completely, and obviously objective to me (math, religion, medicine, how many steps there are in a staircase). Other things seem completely subjective (what kind of hats to wear, whether to put Nutella or peanut butter on your pretzels, which combination of dipping sauces to get with your McNuggets). But how do you separate the two? What makes one topic objective, while others or subjective?
I wrote all this to think through that issue.
The images in the background are diagrams explaining concept from Quantum Mechanics (the Uncertainty Principle, if you were curious. Although it doesn’t matter for our purposes). Einstein believed that “God didn’t throw dice”. Things, while they may appear random, have some ultimate and underlying objective cause. I don’t have enough education to make a statement on Quantum Mechanics, but I thought it was fitting for this discussion.

I love having a girlfriend at home to cook for!! Midnight living room picnic with chicken-noodle soup complimented with crackers and pretzel chips filled with peanut butter and Nutella! All while watching Arthur! (Taken with instagram)
My cover art for Marshall Conn’s “Virtual Boy EP”.
Get ready world! Marshall Conn, front man of The Gott Mountain Boys, has been working on a solo project to tantalize your tastebuds! This acoustic set goes from La Dispute covers, to scathing criticisms of George Lucas, to emotional Pokemon themed ballads of tragic proportions.
Hear what the critics are saying:
“I’ve never experienced anything as epic as Marshall Conn’s ‘Virtual Boy EP’.” -Peter Jackson
“Marshall Conn is the voice of a generation!” -Deepak Chopra

“The tragedy of sin is not that you did something wrong, but that you left God”
The ultimate goal of Christianity is to know, follow, and worship God. The relationship between God and ourself is freeing, and intimate, and encouraging, and convicting, and purifying. It’s wonderful, and it’s terrible that many Christians, myself included, can turn our relationship with God into something that brings us shame and guilt. There is no condemnation for those who are in Christ, but instead of focusing on the love of God, many Christians use feelings of condemnation a motivator to live a holy life.
I pray we have the same attitude as Paul; “But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead.”
As dead flies give perfume a bad smell,
so a little folly outweighs wisdom and honor.
-Ecclesiastes 10:1

This is what $70 can get you!
The camera is a Canon TX. It was made in the mid to late 70’s as a simple and hardy camera. This particular camera was purchased by a lovely old woman just before her and her husband toured Japan. It has sat in her closet for the last 30 or so years.
Bad Stuff: There is no battery for the exposure meter. The camera is completely manuel and works the same without it. I never had a battery in it and it’s worked fine for me, but if you have never worked with setting your own aperture and shutter speed you may want to pick one up. Read about it here. Also one of the clasps for the lenses cap sticks, but it stays on just fine. It has the original faux-leather case, but it has fallen apart over the years to save the camera itself. The strap shows it’s age, but has held up just fine for me.
Good Stuff: Everything else. I only used it for one semester and it has been a wonderfully little camera with no real problems. All of the mechanisms work perfectly and it takes great photos. You can read the shutter speeds and aperture settings in the pictures. It includes a 50mm lens. It uses 35mm film and has held up remarkably over the years. Not to mention it’s gorgeous and a great accessory to any outfit.
You can read the original camera manual here.
It also comes with two filters. One is a Tiffen Multi-Image 5R which is pretty cool (see a test photo above) and the other is a Kenko Two-Field Focus. Neither I, nor my professor has seen anything like the Kenko filter before (so it could be worth a fortune!). Just in case you wanted to know, the Tiffen filter is worth about $30 and I’ve seen the camera itself for sale for an average of $60.
Plus I will throw in lots of other goodies! If you are interested or have any questions, email me at bradyquarles@gmail.com, ask me on here, or add me on facebook here. Shipping is included in the $70.
Thanks!
